Campaigning to Stop the Genocide in Darfur, Sudan
The Save Darfur Coalition recently launched "A Million Voices for Darfur", an ambitious grassroots campaign to educate Americans about this humanitarian crisis and to generate one million postcards to President Bush asking him to lead the world's response to stopping the Darfur genocide. To support the gathering of one million postcards, the coalition enlisted Winning Mark to brand the campaign and design and produce hundreds of thousands of pieces of printed material in more than twenty different versions.

For the last six months, Winning Mark's partner firm, M+R Strategic Services, has provided strategic planning and public relations consulting services to the Save Darfur Coalition, an alliance of more than 150 faith-based, humanitarian, and human rights groups dedicated to stopping the growing genocide in Darfur, Sudan. M+R has helped the Coalition generate numerous editorials, op-eds, articles, and e-alerts calling for U.S. presidential and congressional action and urging UN intervention to halt the government-sanctioned killings. Save Darfur has received coverage in The New York Times, Reuters, the Associated Press, and a host of television, radio, and Internet news outlets.
