Winning Mark and the Humane Society of the United States Strike Pollie Gold Again
Last November, the Humane Society of the United States won what could be fairly described as the greatest victory in the history of the animal protection movement: California’s Proposition 2. This week revealed two more victories, with Winning Mark winning two Pollie Gold awards for our Prop. 2 direct mail. This is the second cycle in a row that Winning Mark has struck Pollie Gold for its work with HSUS.
Prop. 2 – which was energetically opposed by factory farming interests – outlaws the cruel confinement of pigs, cows and chickens. Putting an end to barbaric practices such as gestational crates and battery cages in one of the nation’s largest agricultural markets will reverberate throughout the nation.
